The Pacific Area Boosters Association is an organization of business professionals and community members who support the LAPD Pacific Area. Incorporated in 1973 as a 501(C)3 non-profit organization, the Boosters raise funds to support the LAPD Pacifc Area Cadet & Junior Cadet Programs, the Police Officers and the Police Station. LAPD PACIFIC CADETS

The Cadets program is for young men and women between the ages of 13 - 20 who are interested in serving their community by assisting police and learning basic police skills. LAPD Pacific Area police officers work with these young people to develop leadership skills and discipline. Their participation in community events and diverse special projects provide invaluable service to local neighborhoods and business.

The Junior Cadet Program is an outreach youth program for boys & girls between the ages of 9 - 12 that helps develop a positive relationship with police officers through personal development , community service and education. Supervised by Pacific Area police officers, the young men and women meet weekly after school at the Pacific Area for participation in sports, field trips, craft activities, and community service projects.
